Big Changes

The O'Neals had their little boy Smith Russell O'Neal born on May 20th. They are such a sweet family and Smith will only add to their sweetness. We are so happy for them

Proud Mamma with her new son. Check out his hair... that's an impressive amount of hair. I love this picture, there are few moments in life that are truly monumental... this is one of them.

I got to hold the new bundle of joy. What a sweetie.

Another big change this year that occurred was Bart and Gayleen bought their first home!
We are so excited for them, plus we're stocked that they are closer to us now.

We helped them move into their new home in Layton. It was a fun time to be together.

Cousin time with little "Smithy" as my kids have already nicknamed him. Jordan finally has a Murray BOY cousin! Hooray for him!

It's so sweet to see cousins spending time together and to imagine the friendships that will grow as they all grow up. I am grateful for family being close by.

Cousin hang out time. These kids love him so much already. It warms my heart.

Another big change is headed our way this upcoming February. Murray Baby #4!

Summer Time

Pool time for Katelyn. I'm trying to get a picture and she's trying to get my phone.

Natalie and Jordan playing with water squirters. Katelyn looking cool in her shades.

Sibling picture in the pool. Katelyn wasn't really cool with the cool water. With Katelyn she is never shy to let you know if she disagrees with what is going on. Natalie and Jordan thought it was fun.

These are the light of our lives.

Hanging out on a nice summer afternoon. We love this big yard of ours. We know we'll have many a fun time out here in the years to come.

Jordan's Preschool

Jordan had a Preschool end of year field trip to the Ogden Dinosaur Museum. This was so perfect because Jordan LOVES dinosaurs!

Jordan's best buddy at Preschool is Kaden. They had a lot of fun together at the museum. It was also fun for Natalie because Kaden has a little sister her age.

Fun dino playground and fun crafts.

Plus messy ice cream goodies. A perfect kid day!

Jordan and his Preschool teacher.

Jordan is officially done with Preschool and will be moving on the Kindergarten at Hooper Elementary this next school year. It feels like a big step in our family. He leads the way with the kiddos and we experience a lot of firsts with him naturally since he's the oldest. We love you Jordan and the great boy you are and all that you will become in the future. We'll be here for you every step of the way on this journey of life.

Katelyn's First Steps

Katelyn is almost 14 months old and has taken her first official steps today. I am so happy I caught a picture of this momentous moment. As you can tell from the picture, she is thrilled with herself!

Way to go you big kid! There's no slowing her down now.

I always have to have some bath time photos. Check out those adorable arm roles shes got going on there. Katelyn really loves bath time. She gets jealous when it's her siblings turn and not hers. Such a cutie.

This little lady has always had a personality of "I can do that, I'm a big kid too." She demanded cereal with milk like her siblings and always insists she can do just what they do. What a little go-getter we have.

Silly Times

So Jordan and Natalie decided one day that they wanted to put together a puppet show. The story line was hard to follow but the entertainment was fantastic! Preston and I got the biggest kick out of it.

Jordan wanted to spruce me up one day with some bows.... I said that's fine as long as you'll wear one too.

Catching Katelyn in a cute outfit before she wiggles away and runs off to play with her bro and sis.

This is the cozy hang out spot of the day.

We were blessed to have our good friends Adam and Lisa Bourgeois and their cute kids visit while in town. We haven't seen them for a long time and it was such fun to catch up.

Sister reading time.

Jordan is such a goof sometimes... here we wanted to try on Katelyn's jacket. I love his silly and fun personality. You can see with his big grin that he knows how funny he is.

Natalie got her big girl bed and Jordan got a boost. They love their bunk beds!

Big brother helping his baby sister with some yogurt. Both were enjoying the experience. They did this all on their own, I barely caught the picture.

Another reading books time. This makes my teacher heart happy.

Jordan made a cup tower. I guess that's what happens when you leave plastic cups out at our house.  Nice job "Master Builder."

I found some crazy kids outside in my yard today. Let me know if you know who they belong to. I can't tell with the hats and sunglasses.

Easter 2016

Easter egg coloring! Jordan and Natalie love this each year. I like to see what color combinations they come up with. Plus they sure are cute at how they get so excited about eggs. That's something about childhood I love, simple things bring such joy.

We went over to Nick and Cam's for an Easter egg hunt. Their nieces were there too. It was a lot of fun. And they're off!

Katelyn and Aubrielle doing their best to figure out what the point of this hunt is. They'll figure it out when they open those eggs up.

Such focus... they are determined. I was excited to capture Natalie's reaction to finding an egg in this picture. Simple joys... so sweet.

Dad and Natalie worked together to find the coveted golden egg! Way to go team!

Easter picture! I really like dressing my kids up and taking pictures of them. It's only because they are so adorable.

Love Katelyn's reaction in this picture and Natalie's sweet big sister smile with her arm around her. I hope they'll be good friends as they grow up. P.S. I so adore having my girls wear matching dresses!

St. Patricks Day 2016

Since St. Patrick's Day is the holiday that is in the same month as Katelyn's birthday I like to dress her up for the holiday. Natalie and Jordan liked being festive too.

Sibling hugs and kisses.

When Dad got home we attacked him with some green.

A green dinner is always fun on St. Patrick's Day! We went easy and had green eggs, green pancakes, and a green smoothie. Holidays are such a great excuse to make an ordinary day fun!
